Your Next Business Step Starts Here

Connective Business Services is preparing to open two focused services designed to help entrepreneurs move from ideas, registrations, and unfinished plans to greater clarity, practical structure, and forward momentum.

Booking is now open for Guided Business Launch and Government Contracting Readiness services. Appointments begin August 24.

Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

What is Connective Business Services?

Connective Business Services is a business-support company that helps entrepreneurs and small-business owners organize ideas, understand next steps, strengthen business foundations, and prepare for launch or government-contracting activity.

Our services combine practical guidance, structured working sessions, assessments, professional documentation, and customized action planning.

Who does Connective Business Services serve?

Our business-launch services are designed primarily for:

  • People with a business idea who have not yet registered
  • Newly registered Florida business owners
  • Entrepreneurs who recently received an LLC, EIN, or both
  • Owners who registered a business previously but never fully launched it
  • Small-business owners who need help organizing a defined launch objective

Our government-contracting readiness service is designed for businesses that have started or completed federal, state, or local vendor registration but need help understanding their current readiness and next steps.

Are services available virtually?

Yes. Connective Business Services provides virtual services.

Guided Business Launch Sessions are available to Florida entrepreneurs.

Readiness & Eligibility Assessments are available to qualifying businesses nationwide.

Do I need to already have a registered business?

No.

The Guided Business Launch Session may be appropriate for someone who has a defined business idea but has not yet completed registration.

The service may also support newly registered entrepreneurs and people returning to a business that was registered but never fully launched.

I already have my LLC and EIN. Can you tell me what comes next?

That is one of the primary situations the Guided Business Launch Session was created to address.

The appropriate next steps depend on the type of business, location, services, registration status, and what has already been completed.

The intake allows us to review your current position before confirming whether the session is appropriate.

I registered my business a long time ago but never launched. Do I have to start over?

Not necessarily.

The first step is to review what was completed, determine what is still active or accurate, identify what has changed, and decide whether the original business concept still reflects what you want to build.

A Guided Business Launch Session may help organize that review and create a realistic restart plan.

Service Process

How do I get started?

Begin by completing the intake form for the service that appears to match your needs.

For business launch support: Business Launch Intake

For government contracting readiness: Readiness & Eligibility Assessment Intake

The intake must be completed and reviewed before payment and scheduling information is provided.

Does completing the intake guarantee that I can book the service?

No.

The intake helps Connective Business Services determine whether the requested service appears appropriate for your needs.

After review, you may receive:

  • Confirmation that the service appears to fit
  • A request for additional information
  • A recommendation for a different service
  • A referral to another type of professional
  • Notice that the request is outside the current service scope
Why is the intake required before payment and scheduling?

The intake helps us understand your business stage, what you have already completed, what you are trying to accomplish, and whether the selected service is appropriate.

This protects the client from purchasing a service that may not fit and allows us to prepare for a more focused and productive engagement.

What happens after my intake is approved?

For a Guided Business Launch Session:

  1. You receive the payment link.
  2. Payment is completed.
  3. You receive the scheduling link.
  4. You select an available appointment.
  5. You receive confirmation and preparation instructions.

For a Readiness & Eligibility Assessment:

  1. You receive the payment and document instructions.
  2. Payment and required information are submitted.
  3. The assessment review begins.
  4. Preliminary findings and the action plan are prepared.
  5. You receive a link to schedule the private consultation.

Guided Business Launch Support Session

What is the Guided Business Launch Support Session?

The Guided Business Launch Support Session is a focused 60-minute virtual working session for Florida entrepreneurs who are preparing to start, recently registered, or returning to a business that has not been fully launched.

The session focuses on a defined business-launch objective rather than every possible startup task.

What can be addressed during the session?

Depending on the client’s needs, preparation, and selected objective, the session may include:

  • Business-concept discussion
  • Business-name considerations
  • General business-structure education
  • Florida registration-process guidance
  • EIN application guidance
  • Business email setup
  • Google Business Profile preparation
  • Review of completed launch steps
  • Identification of missing information
  • Immediate next-step planning
  • Identification of matters requiring another professional

Not every activity can or should be completed during one session.

What will I receive after the session?

Clients receive a personalized Launch Document within approximately two to three business days.

The document may include:

  • Topics discussed
  • Decisions made
  • Work completed
  • Remaining tasks
  • Recommended order of completion
  • Relevant Florida resources
  • Missing information
  • Matters requiring another qualified professional
  • A practical launch sequence
Will you register my business for me?

The session may include general guidance and guided assistance with appropriate registration activities.

However, the client remains responsible for reviewing information, entering sensitive details, paying government or third-party fees, and submitting information under the client’s own authority.

Connective Business Services does not provide legal advice or select a legal structure on the client’s behalf.

Can you help me get an EIN?

The session may include general EIN guidance and guided assistance with the application process when appropriate.

The client must enter sensitive information directly and submit the application personally.

Connective Business Services does not retain Social Security numbers, authentication codes, or other sensitive application information.

Can you build my website or manage my social media?

No. Website development and ongoing social-media management are not included in the Guided Business Launch Session.

We may help identify whether a website, social presence, or Google Business Profile should be part of the client’s next steps.

Government Contracting Readiness

What is the Readiness & Eligibility Assessment?

The Readiness & Eligibility Assessment is a structured review of a business’s current government-contracting foundation.

It is intended for businesses that have started or completed federal, state, or local vendor registration but need help understanding what is complete, what is missing, and what should happen next.

What areas does the assessment review?

The assessment may review:

  • Business-foundation readiness
  • SAM.gov status
  • Unique Entity Identifier status
  • CAGE code status
  • Small Business Search or DSBS presence
  • NAICS alignment
  • Capability statement readiness
  • Certifications
  • Past-performance readiness
  • State and local registrations
  • Procurement visibility
  • Opportunity-tracking practices
  • Proposal readiness

The exact review depends on the information and documentation provided.

What will I receive?

Clients receive:

  • A readiness rating
  • A written readiness scorecard
  • A prioritized action plan
  • Identification of major gaps
  • Immediate and medium-term recommendations
  • Helpful public resources
  • A private 45-minute consultation

The readiness rating is generally presented as:

  • Ready
  • Almost Ready
  • Not Yet
Does the assessment complete my SAM.gov registration?

No.

The Readiness & Eligibility Assessment evaluates registration and readiness information. It does not include completing, correcting, renewing, or managing SAM.gov or other vendor registrations.

Registration services, documentation development, opportunity research, or proposal support may require a separate service or scope.

Does being registered mean my business is ready to bid?

Not necessarily.

Vendor registration is one part of government-contracting readiness.

A business may also need appropriate positioning, NAICS alignment, capability information, credible past-performance presentation, opportunity-tracking practices, proposal readiness, operational capacity, and an understanding of the type of work it is prepared to perform.

Can you guarantee that I will receive a contract?

No.

Connective Business Services does not guarantee registration approval, certification, eligibility, funding, contracts, awards, or revenue.

The assessment is intended to help the business understand its current position and create a more informed path forward.

Professional Scope and Privacy

Does Connective Business Services provide legal or tax advice?

No.

Connective Business Services does not provide legal advice, tax advice, accounting, tax preparation, or legal-structure selection.

When a matter requires another qualified professional, we will identify that need and may provide general referral options when available.

What information should I not submit?

Do not send or upload:

  • Passwords
  • Social Security numbers
  • Banking information
  • Authentication codes
  • Full tax returns unless specifically requested through an approved secure process
  • Unnecessary personal records
  • Sensitive personal information unrelated to the service

You remain responsible for entering sensitive information directly into government, banking, or other secure systems.

Will my information be kept confidential?

Connective Business Services uses client information to evaluate service fit, prepare for the engagement, complete the agreed service, and communicate with the client.

Client information is not used for unrelated purposes or shared unnecessarily.

A formal privacy policy should explain how website, form, payment, and client information is collected and managed.

Can you refer me to another professional?

When appropriate, Connective Business Services may identify the need for an attorney, CPA, tax professional, insurer, banker, licensing specialist, website professional, or another resource.

A referral does not guarantee availability, pricing, licensing status, service quality, or outcome. Clients should independently evaluate any outside professional.

Cancellation, Rescheduling, Refund and No-Show FAQs

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We understand that plans sometimes change. Clients should submit cancellation or rescheduling requests by email to Info@ConnectiveBusinessServices.com as soon as possible.

Requests received at least 24 hours before a scheduled appointment may qualify for one complimentary reschedule, subject to availability.

Requests received less than 24 hours before the appointment may be treated as a late cancellation and may not qualify for a refund, credit, or complimentary rescheduling.

How do I reschedule my appointment?

You can reschedule through your appointment confirmation email or you can email Info@ConnectiveBusinessServices.com with:

  • Your name
  • Business name
  • Scheduled appointment date and time
  • A brief statement requesting to reschedule

When the request is received at least 24 hours in advance, you will receive instructions for selecting a new available appointment.

The new appointment should generally be scheduled within 60 days of the original appointment date.

How many times may I reschedule?

Each paid service includes one complimentary reschedule when the request is received at least 24 hours before the appointment.

Additional rescheduling requests may require a new payment or a separately assessed rescheduling fee.

Repeated rescheduling may result in the engagement being closed.

What happens if I cancel less than 24 hours before my Guided Business Launch Session?

Cancellations received less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are considered late cancellations.

Because appointment time has been reserved and preparation may already have been completed, late cancellations are generally nonrefundable.

Connective Business Services may, at its discretion, allow a one-time service credit or reschedule in cases involving a documented emergency or exceptional circumstance. An exception is not guaranteed.

What happens if I am late?

Please join the virtual meeting approximately five minutes before the scheduled start time.

When a client arrives late:

  • The appointment will still end at the originally scheduled time
  • The session may need to be narrowed to the highest-priority issue
  • Lost time will not automatically be added to the end of the appointment
  • The fee will not be reduced because of the shortened session

A client who has not joined or contacted Connective Business Services within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time may be considered a no-show.

What is considered a no-show?

A no-show occurs when a client:

  • Does not attend the scheduled appointment
  • Does not provide advance notice
  • Joins more than 15 minutes late without prior communication
  • Is unavailable or unprepared to participate in the scheduled service
  • Does not have access to the required technology after reasonable preparation instructions were provided

No-show appointments are generally nonrefundable.

Can I reschedule after a no-show?

A no-show does not include complimentary rescheduling.

To schedule another appointment, the client may be required to:

  • Submit a new payment
  • Pay the then-current appointment rate
  • Confirm availability and readiness to participate

Connective Business Services may make a limited exception for a verified emergency, major technology outage, or other exceptional circumstance. Exceptions are evaluated individually and are not guaranteed.

When is a payment refundable?

A payment may be refundable when:

  • Connective Business Services determines that the purchased service is not appropriate before work begins
  • The client cancels before customized preparation or assessment work begins
  • Connective Business Services cannot provide the purchased service
  • A duplicate or incorrect payment was processed
  • A refund is otherwise approved in writing

Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased, the timing of the request, and the amount of customized work already completed.

When is a payment nonrefundable?

Payments are generally nonrefundable when:

  • The scheduled session has occurred
  • The client cancels less than 24 hours before the appointment
  • The client does not attend
  • Customized preparation has already begun
  • The Readiness & Eligibility Assessment review has begun
  • A customized deliverable has been prepared or substantially developed
  • The client decides not to use the recommendations or complete the next steps
  • A desired registration, certification, funding, contract, or business outcome is not achieved

Payment is for the professional service, preparation, assessment, session time, and deliverables described—not for a guaranteed business or contracting outcome.

Can I receive a partial refund after work has begun?

Partial refunds are not guaranteed.

When an engagement is canceled after work begins, Connective Business Services may review:

  • The work already completed
  • Preparation time
  • Research performed
  • Documents developed
  • Appointment time reserved
  • Deliverables already provided

When appropriate, Connective Business Services may offer a partial refund, service credit, or completed portion of the work. The determination will be made individually and confirmed in writing.

What happens if Connective Business Services must cancel or reschedule?

When Connective Business Services must cancel or reschedule an appointment, the client may choose:

  • The next mutually available appointment
  • A service credit
  • A full refund for the portion of the service that has not been completed

Clients will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

What happens if a session is interrupted by a technology problem?

When a significant technology issue caused by Connective Business Services prevents the session from being completed, the remaining time will be rescheduled at no additional charge.

When the issue originates with the client’s equipment, internet connection, account access, or failure to prepare, Connective Business Services will make reasonable efforts to continue the session. However, additional time or rescheduling is not automatically guaranteed.
